Well, this week we have our first guests*. As a result we now have an air mattress, guest sheets and guest towels. Consider this an open invitation to our numerous readers to come sleep on our new bedding and dry off with our new towels (as long as we know you, creepy internet stalkers need not apply). Pretty tempting, right? Hold on to your hats, it’s about to get tempting-er…
WHEREAS, guests are fun to have and something to be celebrated; and
WHEREAS, making the journey is worthy of a reward; and
WHEREAS, we have a blog; and
WHEREAS, we are in constant need of content for said blog.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that guests shall be entitled to turn on and off the celebration light at will.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that guests shall be granted the opportunity to make an official post to Mcneilorama.
Official Rules: ‘Guest’ is defined as someone whose journey was at least a 100 miles and has slept at least one night in our apartment. Inebriated London friends who pass out on our couch do not count. The post must be made before the guest completes their stay. Mcneilorama management retains editorial rights over topic and content of all guest posts. Offer void where prohibited. Actual cash value 0.00001¢.
*Not including Papa Mac who stayed a few nights with us at the corporate flat in Dorset Square and would be considered our actual first guest. In addition, Brooke and Melinda will be considered our first “real” guests for reasons that aren’t fully understood.

Questions like these will be answered on an individual basis. If Fro asks to post in another language it will be considered. However the ruling in one case will not apply to another (i.e. if we allow Fro to post in portugese, we reserve the right to disallow Patrick to post in piglatin).
Can I post in Portuguese Pig Latin?
Is Fro allowed to talk about whatever he wants or does his blog have to refer to his trip to see you guys?
Can we make requests for Fro’s topic? I would like to see an essay on the 13th Century Awakening with a specific look at its effect on the Schisming of the Church and the formation of European nation-states.
Do we get to grade Fro’s blog? If he earns a C or lower is he allowed back to your flat?
-1 for every spelling or grammar mistake. -5 for every time he uses “try and” when he means “try to”.
Also, -1 for the use of the term “grinder” and -10 for the incorrect pronunciation of TV. As amazing as that sounds – yes, Fro can actually incorrectly pronounce two consecutive letters. And we know that he’ll incorrectly pronounce it if he uses it, so basically it’s -10 if the word TV appears anywhere in the blog.
It is preferred that the topic of guest posts relate to their trip, however they are free to write on a topic of their choosing.
Readers care permitted to comment in anyway they see fit, but we feel our guests should be commended for his/her effort and we will remove any comments that are deemed to be against the spirit of the blog.
Well, then, I request that Fro write an essay on how frequently his hair clogged your drains during his trip.
