We thought it would be a good idea for us to start a blog. Well, we also sorta stole the idea from some of our more creative friends, but anyway. Our plan is to use this site to keep everyone up-to-date on our adventures here in London. Over the next few days, we’ll try to write a bit about our various excursions and other happenings in our lives over the past 6 weeks or so. Once we get caught up, we’ll just continue along as we go.
On the right, there’s a little drop-down menu that lets you choose between Andy’s posts and mine. Andy’s stand to me a bit more interesting, because they will inevitably be further apart than mine. . . He is planning to post some pictures in the near future, as well. Speaking of pictures, the one up top is us in front of the Houses of Parlaiment and the Clock Tower. I tried to refer to the Clock Tower as “Big Ben,” and indeed most people do, BUT – turns out that Big Ben is actually the name of the bell inSIDE the Clock Tower. So I suppose we actually are in front of Big Ben, as well – you just can’t see it.

Hi guys, – Good idea starting a blog. Like the photo with your London A-Z and Papa in Putney. I remember walking our dog Cinnamon on Putney Common which is actually part of Richmond Common. They still let the kings deer roam free there. These are descendants from Henry the VIII’s royal deer. Across the highway is Wimbledon Common complete with ruins from the Roman occupancy. Check it out if you get a chance. So there’s some London Trivia for ya.
